Badshah's 'Paagal' breaks world record, gets 75 mn views in 24 hrs

Recently, Indian rapper Badshah added a very special feather to his cap with his latest track Paagal. The singer broke a world record with the song and dethroned music legends like BTS group and Taylor Swift. The song has generated more than 75 million in just 24 hours on Sony Music India’s YouTube channel.

Right after the release, the song turned into a viral sensation and the number of views on the video kept increasing and now the song has broken a major record on YouTube.

The rapper responded to the phenomenal success of the song and said, “I am ecstatic and I am overwhelmed with the amount of love we have received in the last 24 hours. Paagal was made with the focused intent of taking music from India across borders and making our presence felt. And my fans just went all out on this one to help me achieve my dream. We’re going BIG with this one.”

Earlier today, the rapper had shared a post to thank his fans for the love they showered on the video and wrote, “Representing INDIA. Heading towards GLOBAL DOMINATION. Ye India ka time hai. 50 MILLION VIEWS. Thank you so much jinhone support kiya aur gaane ko pyaar diya. Its just the begining. Love youuuuuuuuuuuuu. Its your boy BAADSHAAAAAAHHHHHH! ”

Shridhar Subramaniam from Sony Music also spoke about the success and said, “This is an unprecedented feat and we are very proud. This will go down history as Badshah becomes the first Indian artist to reach 75MN views in 24 hours. The song has been directed by the globally acclaimed Miami-based Marlon Pena and the video has been shot across various iconic locations in LA skyline including the LA river. The music video also stars Rose Romero, a Playboy 2019 muse, who is raising the temperature with her debut in an Indian music video.
