Housefull 4 new poster out: Akshay Kumar playing a double role is thrilling for the fans

Akshay Kumar took to social media to release the first poster of his upcoming film Housefull 4. The actor will be seen in a double role in the film. Directed by Farhad Samji, Housefull 4 boasts of a stellar cast including Akshay Kumar, Kriti Sanon, Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Kriti Kharbanda, Pooja Hegde, Rana Daggubati, Chunky Panday and Johny Lever, among others.

Taking to Twitter, Akshay wrote, “Miliye 1419 ke Rajkumar Bala aur 2019 ke London return Harry se! Witness how they embark upon this journey of ultimate chaos, confusion and madness in the #Housefull4 Trailer. Out on 27th September. #SajidNadiadwala, @farhad_samji, @WardaNadiadwala, @foxstarhindi, @NGEMovies (sic).”

Rumour has it that Nawazuddin Siddiqui may also appear sharing the screen space with Akshay in Housefull 4.

Going by the poster, it seems, Akshay Kumar will be seen playing two roles in the film. In flashback scenes, he will appear as Rajkumar Bala from 1419 and in the current times, he will play the role of Harry who has returned to India from London.

Akshay Kumar fans were waiting for the poster of the film. Hastag We Want Housefull 4 Poster was trending on Twitter for many days. Sensing the excitement around Housefull 4, Akshay Kumar dropped the logo of Housefull 4 on Tuesday, and promised his fans that posters will be out on Wednesday (September 25). And keeping his promise, Akshay shared the first poster of the film showing him in two roles.

Housefull 4 is based on the theme of reincarnation. It is after 3 years Akshay is returning to comedy genre. In 2017, Sajid Nadiadwala made the big announcement about Housefull 4. Earlier, Sajid Khan was appointed as the director of the film, but later after the allegations of sexual harassment against Sajid Khan Farhad Samji was given the responsibility to direct the film.

Talking about the film, director Farhad Samji earlier told IANS, “It is a period comedy… something that we are doing for the first time. The look, clothes and scale of the film are done on a different level. That’s the challenge.”

Housefull 4 is scheduled to hit screens on Diwali this year.
