Priyanka Chopra called Tanushree Dutta a survivor in response to her allegations against Nana Patekar. Here’s how Tanushree reacted to her support….

No doubt, it’s great that quite a few Bollywood celebs like Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar, Richa Chaddha, Swara Bhasker have come out in  support of Tanushree Dutta in her #MeToo fight against Nana Patekar who as per her claims, “misbehaved” and “sexually harassed” her on the sets of 2008 film, Horn OK Please.
In fact, not just Nana Patekar, Tanushree has also exposed the ugly side of director Vivek Agnihotri, Ganesh Acharya by sharing her traumatic experiences shooting with them.
While Tanushree is happy that she’s being heard and Bollywood is finally joining the bandwagon to stand up against the wrong. She’s however not quite happy with Priyanka calling her a ‘survivor’ in her tweet that read, “The world needs to #BelieveSurviviors”.
As Tanushree strongly reacted, “Well, it’s amazing. She (Priyanka) has finally decided to join the bandwagon.
It’s probably a smart thing to do at this point of time. But I just want people to know that I am not going to be reduced to a survivor. I have a name, I have a story and I have this truth that I am trying to get out because it’s not for me but for people who will come forward in the generations to come.

“In the new future we’ll have cases coming forward. So let’s not generalize this thing. There are people who are genuinely supporting me and those are the people who I would like to focus on. But ya, thanks to each and every person who tweeted. It’s great!”, added Tanushree in interaction with Zoom.
In this same interview, Tanushree also called out Twinkle Khanna’s tweet stating that it’s good that she is supporting but her husband (Akshay Kumar) is still shooting with Nana Patekar. What about that?” Perhaps, Tanushree feels Farhan Akhtar is the only lone wolf, the only male actor who has genuinely reacted in her support.
